This portrait began as an attempt to capture something intangible, the unusual smoothness of skin, the quiet presence of youth, and a calm, contained strength.
I was drawn to the softness of masculine features, a balance forms, where tension dissolves into stillness. It felt as if the sculpture was already there, waiting to be revealed.
Originally hand-sculpted and later translated into a precise 3D scan, this piece is produced as an SLA print, preserving the subtle surface and presence of the original. From clay to final print, every step is completed by me, using my own equipment in my Neukölln studio.
Available in two materials:
— Semi-translucent white soy-based resin, with a natural, marble-like glow (even numbers)
— Grey standard resin, emphasizing form and volume (odd numbers)
